Exclusive to MetalCloak this Tie Rod comes with Dual 1-Ton forged and heat treated 1" Dog-Leg Rod-Ends that have strength and provides clearance for use with stock or aftermarket wheels - allowing the best turning radius possible. MetalCloak dog-legged rod ends control tie rod flop providing better performance. Ends are sealed with grease boots to keep debris out and lubrication in. The dog-legged tie rod can be adjusted while installed on the vehicle for fine tuning.
The high clearance bends of the strong 1.375 OD Drag Link tubing is engineered for up and down travel providing the needed space for aftermarket axles and differential covers and is coated with gold zinc chromate for a long-lasting finish. Factory like fitment with OE taper pin and lock nut are found with the Dual 1-ton forged and heat treated Rod-Ends, they have extra strength right where it is needed and are designed to control directional misalignment to prevent Drag Link flop. Sealed with Durable rubber grease boots, the ends are simple to service via zerk fittings.
The assembly is easily adjusted while mounted on the vehicle for fine tuning of axle placement.
The heavy duty 3/16" axle side steering stabilizer mount bracket installs into factory locations and re-positions the stabilizer up and out of harm’s way. The Fox steering stabilizer/damper has increased compression and extension damping performance over the original equipment and is tuned specifically for the JL Wrangler & JT Gladiator.
Choose either the standard steel stabilizer mount or the billet mount; either choice is simple to install, and allows you to position the stabilizer for maximum performance. The standard mount is 3/16" steel and gold zinc plated while the Aluminum billet clamp is Finished in anodized black with a laser engraved "M" around the recessed bolt holes for a clean and custom look.
